Brian Miller

With over 30 years of experience in the field of particle and material characterisation, Brian founded Meritics, in 2003. Passionate about particle characterisation, Brian is the Secretary of the RSC’s Particle Characterisation Interest Group and has published more than 35 papers in the field.

Robert Bunker

Laboratory and Quality Manager

Robert Bunker, Laboratory and Quality Manager, has over 35 years of experience in particle characterisation. An ISO-certified quality auditor and health and safety assessor, he excels in samples and calibration, control material preparation, certification, method development and validation, product development, and proficiency testing schemes.

Sophie Lindsey

Marketing and Administration

Sophie Lindsey, Marketing and Admin Officer, has 18 years of office management experience and qualifications in marketing. As a specialist in office administration, project management, and marketing, she provides invaluable support, ensuring the smooth running of the business.

Dr. Megan Cox

Application Scientist

Megan Cox, Technical Specialist at Meritics since 2019, holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Nottingham and has over five years of experience with membrane proteins. She uses her biological expertise to assess instrument parameters for biological entities, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

James Gregg

Service Engineer

James Gregg, a seasoned professional with over 12 years as a Senior Laboratory Analyst at NRM Laboratories, joined Meritics as an engineer in 2023. With expertise in laser diffraction and analytical science, he brings extensive experience and a commitment to precision, driving innovation and ensuring high standards in his new role.

Darren Bunker

Sales and Laboratory Support

Darren Bunker joined Meritics in 2024, bringing a background in video production from Virgin Media. He supports the marketing team and excelled in training as a service engineer, providing valuable assistance both in the laboratory and with technical support efforts.
